How to start Apache2.2 (on a USB stick) using C#
Apr 27 2008 at 3:35 PM
Hello, I would be most grateful if someone could help me solve this issue. I've already wasted a full week end trying to solve it, but to no avail. After having installed the Apache server as a service, I've been trying the following:
ProcessStartInfo myStartInfo = new ProcessStartInfo();
myStartInfo.WorkingDirectory = @"E:\www\Apache22\bin"; // My USB stick is on the E:\ drive and httpd.exe is in the bin folder
myStartInfo.FileName = @"httpd";
myStartInfo.Arguments = @"-k start"; // I'm trying to reproduce the "httpd -k start" I use in a cmd window to start the Apache server
myStartInfo.UseShellExecute = true;
Process myProcess = Process.Start(myStartInfo);
Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Unfortunately this isn’t the forum to ask for samples but it is a good feature request and I’ll take it into the requests for a future version of MSDN Code Gallery.
