FIX: The children of a folder may disappear after you rename the folder and check in the changes in Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server
Consider the following scenario. You use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server for source control. You rename a folder. Then, you check in the changes. In this scenario, the children of the folder may disappear.
This problem occurs because the full path of the folder that you rename exceeds 260 characters. In this case, the full paths of the children of the folder do not change. Therefore, the children of the folder disappear after you check in the changes. This problem is caused by a Microsoft SQL Server stored procedure that is called during the rename operation.
