When using Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) that hosts a shell extension written using MFC, Windows Explorer may hang. This affects only those shell extensions using MFC versions shipped with Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 or Visual Studio 2008 RTM plus the Visual C++ 2008 Feature Pack. If you are using dll version of MFC this bug is present in MFC90.dll, MFC90u.dll, MFC90d.dll and MFC90ud.dll (versions 9.0.30304.0 to 9.0.30729.176).
