Changing Countin Standard
Dec 16 2009 at 8:12 PM
I have modified the default counting standard file to add java counters and saved the file and applied it.
I can see that it got applied. But when I run a report it uses the default counting standard file and the
counting standard file also goes back to normal. Has any one seen this. How do I make it use the new one?

I've got the same problem and I found a solution for this.
First, back up the original file (LineCounters.xml).
Next just rewrite the original file as you want and make it 'read-only'! and run the code counter.
I don't know why but the code counter tries to write the original file back to default.
So I tried to make the file 'read-only' and it worked.
Once you run the code counter with 'read-only' xml file, the file never goes back to default even if you disable the 'read-only' . ( strange behavior ... )
It has been 1 year already since this post was written but I hope this may help some people.
