PowerShellTunnel - How to Build

To build and/or use PowerShellTunnel.sln you need:
  1. .NET 3.0 because of the use of WCF.
  2. PowerShell 1.0 or 2.0.
  3. Verify the references to System.Management.Automation.dll which is found e.g. in %Program Files%\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\System.Management.Automation.dll. (Found in Windows SDK for Vista.) Refer to http://blogs.msdn.com/powershell/archive/2006/12/11/windows-powershell-sdk.aspx.
  4. Build PowerShell.sln (a VS2005 solution) which produces: PowerShellTunnel.dll (the cmdlet snapin and also an embeddable runspace); and PowerShellTunnel.Embeddable.Example.exe (the example console app using the embeddable runspace).
  5. Go to PowerShellTunnel Quick Start.
