Resource Page Description
Here is a sample code derived from the excellent Family.Show application from Vertigo available on www.codeplex.com/familyshow .

This sample shows how to modify Family.Show to be dynamically connected to an Active Directory to shows the hierarchy stored into a nice WPF application. Pictures are also extracted from the Active Directory if available.

2 French resources are available if you're interested in this topic:

- A MSDN article explaining the path I've chosen to modify Family.Show for AD connection, the multi-threading part, etc : http://msdn.microsoft.com/fr-fr/netframework/cc563816.aspx . You'll also find there a video showing this application in action
- A mini user guide available on my blog here: http://blogs.msdn.com/davrous/archive/2008/10/07/activedirectory-show-et-son-code-source-sont-disponibles.aspx . You'll find screenshots of the application on it and steps on how to configure the application to make it works on your environment.

You'll find the Visual Studio 2008 solution in the "Downloads" section as well as a compiled version of the project to test it against your own organization.
