Contoso Cycles Azure Services Platform Sample
All Resource Updates
Change History (all pages)
Contoso Cycles shows how the Azure Services Platform can be used to build a supply chain application. .NET Services allows messages to flow between companies across firewalls, NATs and routers.
To install Contoso Cycles please refer to the
document located on the Downloads tab. You will need:
Visual Studio 2008 SP1
.NET Framework 3.5 SP1
ASP.NET MVC 1.0
SQL Server 2005 or 2008
.NET Services SDK March 2009 CTP
Once installed, run the application by either running RunMe.cmd or by opening the solution in Visual Studio and pressing F5. This will launch a collection of services that connect via the .NET Services Service Bus. You can then browse the website and purchase items by simply using the web server as part of Visual Studio.
The sample should run straight out of the box using an already-defined .NET Services solution. Should you want to use your own solution and password, you can use the set-Credentials.ps1 PowerShell script in the scripts directory, providing your solution name and password as arguments. This will update all the config files as required.
The example companies, organizations, products, domain names, e-mail addresses, logos, people, places, and events depicted herein are fictitious. No association with any real company, organization, product, domain name, email address, logo, person, places, or events is intended or should be inferred.

where can I find the InstallingcontosoCycles.doc?
I passed the dependency check, but it still can not work. The dev webdev.webserver always crashes after I click RunMe.cmd
