This article describes how to generate documents that contain data stored in SharePoint lists. The example demonstrates how OpenXML content controls can be defined to capture list data in a Word document and how LINQ to XML can be used to query the lists. The documents are generated from a SharePoint Web Part.

Try dumbing down the article next time. You've used too many cutting edge technologies in this article for a mid-level guy like me to comprehend. You have to ask yourself, who is your audience and do you really want to explain how easy it is to use SharePoint? The article is targeted well and I need to leverage the end result for our SharePoint project but the way you go about it is way beyond what the copders here are capable of getting into.

Hi there, just a remark . The XML file injected by code is not the same that exists on the document file .
