The image footballs.jpg seems to be corrupt in some way. Even though I could see the image in (Windows) Explorer Preview, it did not display in Internet Explorer 9. I opened it in GIMP and saved it overwriting the original file and now the example works. Or maybe it's just an issue with the zip decompression...

Great example anyway - I appreciate it!
