SharePoint 2010 Extensibility Projects
Welcome to the MSDN Code Gallery site for the SharePoint 2010 Extensbility Projects. These are three projects that you can use to augment your SharePoint 2010 development efforts. The three projects leverage the Visual Studio extensibility model and give you three VSIX files that you can install and use in your development environment. There are three extensibility projects included in this Beta release (that target the SharePoint RC version):
1. Silverlight and SharePoint project template
2. SharePoint Ribbon project template
3. OBA Deployment project template
The project templates are essentially VSIX files that you can install into your development environment and begin using right away.
This release is a Beta release. We are currently working with a small group of SharePoint MVPs to improve these projects and we will re-release shortly after the SharePoint/Office May 12th launch.
Included with this release is the following:
1. A quick screencast walkthrough of the project template;
2. A walkthrough document providing some additional information on the template;
3. The VSIX file that you can install and then use in Visual Studio 2010.
